Assessments
Comprehensive developmental and functional assessments can be completed to assist with developing goals, establishing an intervention plan and measuring outcomes including:

Assessment to support a Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) diagnosis

Home or school-based therapy
Therapy is offered within the child's home, kindergarten, pre-school or school. This allows for children to work on goals in an environment that is familiar and meaningful for them. It also facilitates a collaborative approach between the OT, teachers and families and supports the integration of goals and recommendations into these environments.
Funding
Medicare
Your child may be eligible for a Chronic Disease Management Plan (previously called an Enhanced Primary Care Plan). This provides a Medicare rebate for up to 5 sessions of allied health services (including occupational therapy) over 12 months. Please arrange an appointment with your GP to check eligibility.
National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
We are able to provide services funded through the NDIS where the child's NDIS funding is either "self-managed" or "plan-managed".
Private Health Insurance
Depending on your level of cover, you may be eligible for rebates through your health care fund.
